Muscat, Oman – April 11, 2025: Oman witnessed a cultural milestone as Art Alchemy, a first-of-its-kind international art gathering, unfolded at Markaz Al Bahja Mall on Friday. The event brought together over 50 artists from across the globe, creating a vibrant tapestry of color, creativity, and cross-cultural connection.
Organized by Hakkai Oman in collaboration with MY Business Management and Trading, Art Alchemy celebrated the power of art to transcend borders and ignite dialogue. The event showcased a stunning variety of mediums—acrylic, oil, resin, pastel, watercolor, and more—featuring works from Oman, Saudi Arabia, Germany, India, China, Ukraine, Pakistan, Malaysia, and beyond.
“This event was a dream come true,” said Namrata from Hakkai & Dr. Nuslia Akhter -Director M.Y. Business Management & Trading, the chief organizers and driving force behind the event. “To see so many artists and art lovers come together in one space was incredibly moving. The energy, the talent, the diversity—it was everything we hoped for and more.”
The term Alchemy—historically associated with transformation—proved fitting, as the event transformed the mall into a thriving artistic hub for a day, uniting communities through shared appreciation and expression.
Mrs. Tarini Agarwal, renowned artist and Founder of Al Mouj Artist Group and Art Galleries, honored the event as Guest of Honor, lending her support to what is now being hailed as one of the largest and most inclusive art gatherings in Oman to date.
Three outstanding artworks were awarded special recognition by a jury, celebrating innovation, originality, and cultural storytelling. “The overwhelming response led to registrations closing early, underscoring the growing enthusiasm for art in the region”- added Namrata.
