Muscat, 30th October 2025 – The Environment Society of Oman (ESO) recently held the eighteenth edition of the ESO Charity Ball, the organisation’s annual fundraiser event to benefit Oman’s environment. This year’s Charity Ball brought together more than 230 corporates, entrepreneurs, VIPs, and other stakeholders interested in supporting nature conservation and a greener future for Oman. As always, the event helped raise awareness of ESO’s excellent track record for environmental successes it has achieved throughout the years via education, awareness, and conservation.

The ESO Charity Ball plays an essential role in generating philanthropic donations to support the nonprofit organisation’s efforts to protect Oman’s environment. Given the global climate emergency, national environmental challenges, and a collective responsibility to act, there has never been a more critical time to support ESO. This year’s event was held in partnership with Pearl Partner, Oman Shell, and Coral Partners, Al Jenaibi International Automobiles, Alpha Fishco LLC, and Ominvest, additional sponsor 44.01, and in-kind supporters, Mosaic Events, Towell-Take Solutions, Tunes, and African Eastern The event took place at the stunning Jumeirah Muscat Bay.
Committed to contributing to a sustainable future in which people and nature can thrive, ESO is Oman’s only non-governmental, nonprofit organisation dedicated to environmental conservation since its establishment in 2004. ESO has spent over two decades working to protect Oman’s environment and to inform and progress action and debate around the most pressing environmental issues.

The event was held under the patronage of Her Highness Sayyida Tania bint Shabib Al Said, Founding Member of the Environment Society of Oman (ESO). During the evening, guests were introduced to the latest updates, achievements, and key projects of the Society—ranging from the protection of Oman’s terrestrial and marine environments to educational and community awareness initiatives.
The event’s program included raffles, auctions, and entertainment segments performed by musicians. This year’s auction centered around contributions that would directly support ESO’s operations, the conservationists and educators they employ and supporting the next generation of conservation leaders through training and mentorship programs. Raffle gifts were generously donated by supporters ensuring the success of this charitable event,
including DusitD2 Jabal Akhdar, Al Sharqiya Aviation- Oman, Padel Addicts, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Casa Cora, and Ghala Golf Club.
As an NGO, ESO relies on individual and corporate donations to make a real and sustainable difference in the conservation of Oman’s environment. Various membership and support options are available for entities who wish to support ESO to carry on its essential work and safeguard Oman’s environment for future generations.
