Grand Millennium Muscat is delighted to announce two enticing culinary experiences starting in October 2025: new Seafood Buffet Night at its celebrated Bahriyat Restaurant and the highly anticipated return of Bait Al Shukolatah at Café D.
Following the grand reopening of Bahriyat Restaurant last year, the popular 5-star hotel is turning up the flavour with an irresistible seafood buffet, while elevating Café D’ with a smorgasbord of desserts. Both experiences are designed to reflect Grand Millennium Muscat’s commitment to refined hospitality and Oman’s rich culinary heritage, offering evenings filled with flavour, ambience, and live entertainment.
At ‘Bahriyat’, which translates as ‘fruits of the sea’, connoisseurs of seafood can indulge in delicious seafood buffet nights – every Tuesday and Friday from 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm -featuring the freshest local catches prepared live and artfully served. This special buffet, priced at OMR 14++ per person and making it the perfect evening out for couples, families, and friends.
Bahriyat’s dishes are meticulously crafted from locally-sourced seafood, hand-selected by the restaurant’s own chef. The menu showcases seasonal favourites and specialties that reflect the richness of the sea, with a contemporary approach that fluidly merges with traditional cooking methods.
Set within a striking marine-themed interior, Bahriyat’s ocean-inspired décor – from jellyfish-glow lighting to sculpted fish walls – create a serene backdrop. The experience is elevated with live performances by a vibrant duo band or solo artist, setting the tone for a relaxed yet memorable evening.
Meanwhile, over at Café D, the hotel’s cosy lobby café, the beloved Bait Al Shukolatah returns this October, offering a decadent escape every Sunday and Monday from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

First introduced in 2024, Bait Al Shukolatah has become a favourite among Muscat’s dessert aficionados. The experience showcases an opulent spread of treats including Mississippi Mud Cake, Kunafa, Walnut Brownies, Nut Tarts, Fudge, Gateaux, Tortes, and this season with traditional, home-made Omani Halwa by the Hotel Pastry Chef Abdul Majeed. The soothing melodies of live Oudh music wrap guests in a cocoon of comfort, transforming the dessert buffet into a sensory experience of taste and tradition.
Commenting on the new offers, Glenn Nobbs, Cluster General Manager at Grand Millennium Muscat, stated: “We are incredibly excited to welcome our guests to these two exceptional dining experiences. The Seafood Buffet Night at Bahriyat will offer a fresh and flavourful journey for seafood enthusiasts, while the return of Bait Al Shukolatah will provide an indulgent and unforgettable evening for dessert lovers.
