Muscat, Oman,26 October 2025: talabat turned this year’s Hero Month into a youth-led drive for community impact. Throughout October, young employees led two initiatives – a day at the Early Intervention Center engaging children with special needs, and the Give Back Forum supporting charities in expanding their digital reach. Together, they made Hero Month a celebration of youth leadership ahead of Omani Youth Day.
“The purpose of Hero Month is to give back and create positive change,” said Stéphane Berton, Managing Director, talabat Oman. “It’s a platform for our people to lead with purpose, and this year, Oman’s youth took centre stage. Their passion and initiative brought new energy to our community partnerships, transforming ideas into action and reflecting the same spirit we celebrate through Omani Youth Day.”
The first activation took place at the Early Intervention Center. 22 talabat volunteers spent the day engaging 129 children and 17 adults through activities inspired by their own talents, from art and pottery to face painting and a live jam session. The day reflected talabat’s inclusive spirit and its belief in creating spaces where every child feels seen, supported and celebrated.

talabat also hosted its first-ever Give Back Forum, an educational workshop designed by young talabat employees for Omani charities. The session brought together seven organisations to exchange ideas on strengthening their digital fundraising capabilities and deepening collaboration with talabat. Using real data from the platform, the youth-led team shared insights such as an average of 2.5 donations per user, a 34% conversion rate and an OMR 3 average donation value. They also guided charities on practical ways to boost engagement, from digital storytelling and content refreshes to awareness campaigns and simple donate in one tap calls to action.
By combining hands-on volunteering and digital learning, talabat’s young heroes proved that when youth lead with empathy, every act, big or small, can create lasting change.
